Away victory

In the 18th day of the Highest League of the Krasnodar Region Championship, FDC “Vista” met with the youth team of the “Kuban” football club. For our team, this match was the first official match in the capital of the region – Krasnodar.

Having arrived at the base of the Kuban club, our players and the coaching staff immediately noticed that today's game will have to be played on a field of far from perfect quality. The hummocky lawn a priori deprived the red and white of their main trump cards: speed and dribbling. And the opening minutes of the meeting showed that our guys will have to fight not only with a strong opponent, but also with uneven surfaces.

However, gradually the boys of Patrick Papyan managed to adapt to the existing conditions and began to create chances at the gates of the yellow and green. Traditionally, one of the most active members of the FDC “Vista” was Jonathan Okoronkwo. In the first half, our forward had three or four chances to score, but he failed to realize them. A couple of times the hosts were saved by the goalkeeper, and in another episode of Kuban, the bar came to the rescue.

During the break, the coaching staff of the red and white made personnel changes and soon these measures bore fruit. Substitute Adams Friday received a pass to the free zone on the right flank, entered the penalty area and executed a shot to the goalie's line, where Evans Okokon ran in and hit the goal without interference – 1:0.

The goal scored gave our team even more confidence and it continued to have the advantage in all areas of the field. The hosts relied only on rare moments, and two of them turned out to be extremely dangerous. In one case, the ball hit the crossbar, and in the second, our goalkeeper Alexander Dyachenko played great.

At the end of the match, the red and white logically doubled the score after another flank attack. Once again, Friday acted as an assistant, giving an assist to Arsen Eghiazaryan. There were about ten minutes left before the final whistle, and our guys had several more chances to score, but the score did not change anymore – 2:0.
