Reserve team lost to Siberians

It's called "boxing day", which FDC "Vista" participated recently, when the team had to play three matches in four days, that ended on March 28 with a match against the youth team of the Krasnoyarsk “Enisey”. The Red and White had the opportunity to play at their home stadium for the first time in a long period, but in the end, Artur Hovhannisyan's players did not become the hosts of the situation in this meeting.

As expected, our reserve team participated in the match against the Siberians. Perhaps the initial excitement, perhaps the older age of the opponent, or perhaps the lack of play led to the fact that by the eighth minute of the match, the guests were leading with a score of 2:0. First, they had an indisputable penalty, and a minute later they punished our young players for an uncoordinated exit from the defense. Of course, such a discouraging start affected both the mood of the players and the envy to play, as they say, without looking at the defense.

Gradually, the red and white managed not only to level the game, but also to start dictating their own terms to the guests. Before the break, our guys managed to create several chances at the opponent's goal, but they were unable to equalize the score and reduce the gap to a minimum. And at the very beginning of the second half, another ridiculous mistake by our guys in their own penalty area finally determined the disappointing outcome of the match.

It should be noted that with the score 3:0, a frankly open game with an abundance of chances went on the field both at one goal and at the other, but in such a shootout the Siberians were again lucky. Five minutes before the final whistle, they scored the fourth goal, setting the final score.

This game ended the long training camp of our team, which took its start in early January. After today's match, the team received three rest days, and FDC “Vista” will meet at its base in Gelendzhik on the first day of April.
