A dramatic draw against "Pioneer"

The FDC "Vista" opened the second round of the Krasnodar Region Championship with a away match against one of the leaders of the tournament: "Pioneer" from the village of Leningradskaya.

For various reasons, the coaching staff of our team was once again forced to reshape the starting line-up. For example, Jefferson Granado came to the forward position, and Lucas Rojas and Jonathan Okoronkwo took places in the inside zone.

The starting segment of the game was spent in exploration. The home team created a dangerous moment, in which our team was rescued by goalkeeper Alexander Dyachenko, and the red and white responded with a goal. Okoronkwo on the flank dealt with the guardian, executed a shot to the center of the goalkeeper, where Rojas ran. The first shot of our player hit the crossbar, but Lucas did not switch off from the game and with a second blow, already with his head: opened the score. And then Okoronkwo himself distinguished himself, who accurately shot at the angle ninety.

But soon "Pioneer" scored his own goal. Our defense got it wrong as they approached their penalty area, and Ivan Erokhin managed to finish after his partner shot and Dyachenko saved. The teams had to make it to the locker room with the score 2:1 in our favor, but Ruslan Gabaraev, closing Okoronkwo's shot, hit the two-yard post.

After the break, an equal and rather viscous game went on the field. For a long time, the opponents managed without moments, but closer to the final whistle they staged a real shootout. First, Sergey Gorelov equalized the score, being alone at the far post, and then FDC "Vista" again took the lead, thanks to a goal that was organized by three players who came on as substitutes. The newcomer of the team, Sodik Rashid, completed a vertical pass to the penalty line, where Maxim Bocherenok wittily missed it and Timofey Kostenko, who was standing closer to the goal, who coolly realized a one-on-one exit.

Unfortunately, our guys did not manage to keep the winning score. In the injury time, Zaurbek Konov was the first to catch the ball that bounced off the flank and set the final result-3:3.
