On 16 June, we will start in the Cup!

On Wednesday, 16 June, FDC “Vista " will start in a new tournament. On this day, our team will go to the city of Krymsk for the match of the 1/16 final of the Cup of the Krasnodar Region, where it will meet with the football club “Sopka Geroyev".

The name of our opponent was chosen in honor of the famous memorial complex, which is located in the Krymsk district. It was here, by the way, that the legendary Kuban football player Alexander Vasilyevich Ploshnik started playing football, who, having proved himself at the regional level, got into the main team of the Krasnodar Region-Kuban.

In its current form, the club has been in existence for the fourth year. It was organized by a well known philanthropist and football fan: Alexander Anatolyevich Titov. The team is based in the village of Kiev, and its matches are held at the stadium “Vityaz” in Krymsk.

In the pre-pandemic season, “Sopka Geroyev "confidently took first place in its group of the "Governor's Cup", but in the final round lost to the current leader of the Championship of the Krasnodar Region: the team "Rus" from the village of Dneprovskaya. Our opponent started the current season quite confidently and after seven matches played, he is third in his group in the "Governor's Cup".

It should be noted that at present the composition of “Sopka Geroyev" consists of both local football players and experienced "legionnaires". In particular, Artem Beketov evolves in the team, who has experience of playing in the Russian Premier League. Also noteworthy is Vladimir Riedel, who played at the level of the FNL.
