Samuel Akere scored in his very first game for his new club just eight minutes after coming onto the pitch

A graduate of FDC Vista, the Nigerian forward—now with the Polish club Wisła Płock—made his debut in a Matchday 8 Ekstraklasa fixture against KS Cracovia. This was Akere first appearance for the team following his transfer from Widzew. He came on in the 62nd minute and found the back of the net eight minutes later, sealing a convincing 3–1 victory for his new side.
