Five facts about our opponent - FC Forte

Football club "Forte" is a Russian football club from Taganrog, playing in LEON - Second League - Division B - Group 1. It was founded in July 2019. The team spent its first season in professional football in 2020, taking 9th place in the PFL championship, Group 1, although already in the first season the club’s management was determined to enter the Football National League.

The head coach of FC Forte is Eduard Rachikovich Sarkisov, a Soviet and Russian football player, Master of Sports of the USSR. Eduard Rachikovich is a graduate of the Chernomorets Youth Sports School, and began his playing career in the USSR Major League club - Ararat Yerevan. Then there were contracts with Novorossiysk Chernomorets, Kuban and Zhemchuzhina. He worked as a coach at Chernomorets, Slavyansky and Kuban Holding.

The team’s home arena is the city stadium “Torpedo”, rented since 2020, referred to by the club in official sources as “Forte Arena”. In 2020, the stadium underwent a full-scale reconstruction, and the stadium's capacity is currently 3,400 people.

Before the start of the second part of the season in LEON - Second League - Division B - Group 1, the team was replenished with two interesting and promising players. Alexander Mkrtchyan is a 20-year-old winger, a product of Kuban football, who was drafted under the banner of the Armenian youth team, in which he played 5 matches. Nikita Klimov is a 25-year-old defensive midfielder, known for his performances for Rotor-2 Volgograd, Chernomorets Novorossiysk and Tekstilshchik Ivanovo.

The first part of the season was more than successful for the team. After 16 rounds, FC Forte ranks first in terms of lost points with the prospect of promotion at the end of the season. The team has 9 wins, 3 draws and 3 losses with a goal difference of 26-14.
