On November 15, a press conference of FDC "Vista" was held, at which the new head coach of the team was introduced, and plans for further development of the project were announced.
The press conference began with an introductory speech by Tigran Mkrtchyan, President of FDC Vista. The president introduced the new head coach of the team. He became a well-known Spanish specialist Gerard Nus. This coach has a license of the UEFA Pro category. He has a wealth of experience working in clubs of the highest level. In particular, Gerard Nus worked at the English football club Liverpool, where he helped Rafael Benitez. He also worked at the English club "Brighton" and a number of Spanish clubs: "Elche", "Rayo Vallecano", "Rayo OKK". From 2014 to 2017, he worked as an assistant coach in the Ghana national team, with which he reached the final of the African Cup of Nations. In addition, his track record includes work in the following clubs: Chunnam Dragons (South Korea), Melbourne Heart (Australia), Eskelstuna (Sweden), Irtysh (Kazakhstan) and North East United (India).
After signing a two-year contract, Gerard Nus noted that he was glad to be part of an ambitious project and would make every effort to develop his new club. Answering the questions of the gathered journalists, the mentor noted that he liked the working conditions in Gelendzhik and reported on some innovations that had occurred in the work of the team.
The new executive director of the club Alexey Balyberdin shared his plans for winter training camps. In particular, the head noted that in mid-January FDC Vista plans to go to Dubai for a two-week training camp. There the team plans to hold several test matches against strong opponents. In addition, Alexey Balyberdin announced personnel changes at the club, noting that the medical staff has expanded in the team and a new press officer has been appointed. It is Artem Nepomnyashchikh.
The executive director also emphasized that, in addition to football training, the players will receive training in the field of sociology, sports ethics and psychology, foreign languages and proper nutrition. And most importantly, all players will receive knowledge on football theory.
President of FDC Vista Tigran Mkrtchyan said that the team will receive a significant update in the near future. Within 10 days, the squad will be replenished with about thirty new players who were selected during the summer scouting program in Africa. They have already become students of the Kuban State University and in a few days they will begin the process of training and training.
In addition, the president emphasized the successful implementation of the main goals of the project - the preparation of football players to perform at a professional level. In this regard, Tigran Mkrtchyan said that negotiations are currently underway with the Krasnodar football club on the transfer of three FDC Vista football players to the camp of the "citizens".
In the final part of the event, the general director of the club Artur Poghosyan noted that FDC Vista will continue to make every effort to develop young football players from all over the world. Artur Armenovich also said that a new football field will be put into operation on the territory of the club's base from day to day and once again emphasized the importance of close cooperation between FDC Vista and Kuban State University. The main thing in this regard is the fact that our club, together with KubSU, submitted documents to the Russian Football Union for the possible participation of the University's football team in the Youth Football League of Russia.
