A double victory!

In the second round of the Championship of the Krasnodar Region, the Sochi “Zhemchuzhina” came to visit FDC “Vista". Both teams started the tournament with defeats and were eager to score points, so as not to get bogged down in the basement of the standings at the start of the season.

Compared to the last match, the coaching staff of our team made several changes in the starting line-up. In particular, captain Cesar Carrera returned to the position of the left center-back. Also from the first minutes Kazakh midfielder Abzal Kalau made his debut. Oleksandr Dyachenko appeared at the last line, and Lucas Rojas entered the support zone.

The red and white immediately seized control of the ball and soon organized the first moment. Vladislav Kurylyuk was face to face with the goalkeeper of the guests, but he could not beat the goalkeeper in close combat. Later, Kurylyuk missed another chance, and before that, Emmanuel Obere had a chance to open the score, but the forward from a killer position shot above the goal.

During the break, Kurylyuk lost his place to another newcomer of the team: Timofey Kostenko. Later, the coaching staff and Artur Hovhannisyan made another reshuffle, releasing Maxim Bocherenk instead of Lucas Rojas, and German Krivdunov moved to the position of the midfielder. For a while, Sochi managed to remain calm at their own goal, but closer to the end of the match, our team still managed to open the opponent's defense and scored a well-deserved goal. Krivdunov won the rebound on the approaches to the penalty area and gave a pass to Ruslan Gabaraev, who did not leave a chance for the goalkeeper of “Zhemchuzhina”.

And then Kostenko scored, hitting the goal with a header. This scoring double finally deprived the guests of points in this match and the red and white calmly brought the match to a victory of 2:0.
