A victorious denouement!

On 24 February, FDC “Vista" held another test match in the sports complex “Gigant" in the city of Krymsk. The opponent of our team was the representative of Group 1 of the Professional Football League of Russia. The football club “Makhachkala".

In this match, the head coach of the red-white team, Artur Hovhannisyan, could not count on one of the leaders of his team, Ifeani Nduku. The defender was injured during one of the training sessions and remained in Gelendzhik. Our team have traditionally taken possession of the territorial advantage from the first minutes of the game, but the first dangerous moments came right at Egor Achinov's doorstep, when our defenders made mistakes with a pass from midfield.

However, our defense did not allow any more such mistakes, and the players of the attack group gradually began to feel for gaps in the defensive ranks of “Makhachkala”. Before the break, FDC “Vista" had a couple of chances to succeed, but the ball did not end up in the net of the Dagestan team.

In the second half, the opponent changed almost the whole team and our coaching team made step-by-step replacement process. The game, despite the weather conditions, gradually opened up, the teams began to create scoring chances, but the score on the board did not change. Jonathan Okoronkwo and Evans Okokon missed great scoring opportunities for the Reds and Whites. The opponent shot Achinov's crossbar twice.

The end of the game came in the last minutes. First of all, Hajimurad Hajiyev, responding to the instructions of the coach, put pressure on the goalkeeper of “Makhachkala”, which led to the first goal of our team. True, a minute later, an extremely controversial penalty was awarded to the opposing team, which was transformed by Magomed Ibragimov. And yet, in the last seconds of the game, our players found the strength to lead a decisive attack, the result of which was another penalty caused by Atay Ilyichbek Uulu. The penalty was masterfully carried out by Herman Krivdunov, setting the final score-2:1!
