Ahead of the final round of the Russian Championship (Higher League), FDC Vista Academy head coach Alexander Davydkin discussed the team's mindset for the match against Krasnodar and reflected on the recent game against Volgar.

The upcoming game against Krasnodar is the final round, and in terms of the league standings, it no longer affects our position. However, Krasnodar is always a formidable opponent for any team, so we certainly won't lack the motivation to put in a strong performance.

We want to end this stage with a win and demonstrate that we can compete on equal terms with Krasnodar—and even beat them. The changes we made to the squad and the reinforcements we brought in have paid off; the team has genuinely become stronger. We want to make a statement in our final match and secure a positive result on the opponent's home turf. Despite having a number of injured players, we are preparing thoroughly and will give it our all.

As for the match against Volgar, while we weren't satisfied with the result, I was pleased with the quality of our football. We created chances, fought hard, and pressed the opponent actively throughout the match, forcing them to resort to long balls more often. The only thing missing was the finishing touch—that final strike to convert our dominance into goals. Even the penalty we earned late in the game didn't lead to a win; the ball hit the post.
