A good game against a Premier League team!

14 February, 2021 will forever go down in the history of FDC "Vista"! On this day, our team played for the first time against an opponent of the level of the Russian Premier League and proved that it is already ready to play at the highest level.

In today's match, the red-and-white team faced the «Tambov» football club. The audience gathered on the grandstand of the «Gigant» sports complex was probably shocked by the fact that the young guys from Gelendzhik literally controlled the Premier League team in the first half!

Yes, our guys didn’t have many chances to score, but the shots of Jonathan Okoronkwo and Edgar Piloyan looked quite promising. The first lacked accuracy, and the second lacked impact strength. However, "Tambov" before the break in the attack did not show itself at all, and the first shot on target of Yegoriy Achinov's goal was delivered only in the 38th minute of the match.

After the break, the opponent started to play more actively, but if our possessions had any sharpness, it was only because of the uncoordinated actions of the young FDC «Vista» players. In general, an equal game with a minimum of situations continued on the field.

All the more disappointing for us was the outcome of this match. With 30 seconds left before the final whistle, «Tambov» got the right for a corner in a simple situation. There was a serve to the center of the penalty area, where the opponent player jumped out above all and sent the ball into the net with his head.

Despite the final defeat, our team deserved the most flattering ratings for playing against an opponent of this level. With this match, our young guys proved that they are already ready to fight on equal terms with high-class opponents.
