We present to your attention five facts about the Krasnodar-2 team

Football club "Krasnodar-2" was founded in May 2013 and is the farm club of the football club "Krasnodar". Until 2018, the club took part in the second league “Zone South”, and in June 2018 the team received a promotion and the opportunity to play in the National Football League. Since July 2023, the team has again taken part in Second League matches.

35-year-old specialist Ilya Valiev recently became the head coach of Krasnodar-2. In November 2020, he began working at the Basic School of the Academy of FC Krasnodar and already in the first season, together with the black and green 2011, he was able to win the Kolyvanov Cup for the first time. In July 2023, Ilya Nugzarovich became the coach of Krasnodar-U18, with whom he claimed medals until the last round. Since December 2023, he has led the Bulls' youth team and before the start of the second part of the season he was in third place in the MFL.

Krasnodar-2 plays its home matches at the incredibly cozy and very stylish academy stadium, which has a capacity of 7,000 spectators. The playing arena is sunk several meters below ground level, and the black, stylish panels that cover the roof of the stadium are made of tempered glass. The interiors are inspired by the aesthetics of the 60s, and the landscape solutions are from the 20s of the last century during the era of surrealism.

After the expiration of the lease agreements before the start of the season, pupils of the Krasnodar academy returned to the black-green squad - defender Danila Gaivoronsky, who played for Novorossiysk Chernomorets, and midfielder Dmitry Paderin, who played for the Yekaterinburg Ural-2. Both players are preparing for the season with the team.

Unfortunately, the team can hardly count last season as an asset. Having confidently won the Autumn part of the season, in the decisive matches “Krasnodar-2” was unable to show everything it was capable of, and instead of being promoted in class and entering the FNL, the team took only 7th place, which sent the team to Division A “Silver”, where she will have to win again in order to return to the “Gold” league and then again compete for access to the FNL.
