Good afternoon. We were not satisfied with the result of the match. We expected to win yesterday and set ourselves up for the return match. However, not everything went according to plan.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What worked and what didn't work in yesterday's game?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The weather conditions, with strong winds, made it difficult for us to play the kind of football we are used to. We controlled the game, played low, and there was a lot of fighting, but unfortunately, we didn't create many chances. We spent a lot of energy in the first half, which led us to switch to a 4-4-2 formation, make substitutions, and simplify our game. We had the opportunity to score and win, but our execution failed us.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What can you say about the opponent? The team from Stavropol was very different in terms of size.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Stavropol team really outweighed us in terms of size. There were a lot of tall and big players in the opposing team. It was difficult to play power football with them throughout the match. This was the first time this season that we faced a team where most of the players were taller and heavier than our guys. Arthur is gradually getting back into shape. Yesterday, I took a risk and brought him back after a long break. He is one of the few players in our team who can handle the opponents' defenders. Arthur performed well, clinging to the ball, opening up in time, and making accurate passes. He fulfilled his task, as did Viktor Usachev, who recently recovered from an injury.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
